Class:  Victoria Tote

Teacher:  Lynn Cibulka     Level:  Beginner         Tuition:  $32

Two Sessions:  Thursday, June 5 and July 10; 7-9PM

This Victoria Tote, designed by Sue Spargo, is a wonderful tote, large enough for carrying lots of "stuff" like your knitting or quilting.  It is made with a wool applique' block surrounded by upholstery pieces.  It is more fun to make and not too difficult.  It allows you to "get outside your box" and having something very useable when you are finished.

Class:  Saturday Sampler Setting

Teacher:  Gail Gregory   Level:  Beginner   Tuition: $16

One session:  Saturday, June 28; 10AM-Noon

Gail has been teaching our "Saturday Sampler" now for an entire year and we want to help you complete your quilt.  Our sample of twelve blocks is "set on point" and if you want help completing that step, this is the class for you.  The remaining steps of quilts and binding are offered in other classes.  Gail will discuss the choices for your binding.

The final step in making a quilt is binding the edge.  You will trim your quilt, create  your binding, learn how to apply it to the edge of your quilt, join the ends and stitch down the final edge.  It's very satisfying to finish!

Two sessions:  Saturday, June 28 and July 12; 1-3 PM

The Cover Story panels by Thimbleberries make up into wonderful quilts but we also found another use for them...covering a scrapbook.  Come to see the samples.  It is great fun to enjoy with all your photos collected in them.  In the first class you will cut the panel and construct the outer portion of the book.  In the second class and after quilting the scrapbook cover will be assembled.
