The final meeting of Designer Divas 2009 will be held Wednesday, December 9th at both 10:30 and 7:00. We will continue exploring the many distinctions of wool.  Mary Flanagan's visit in October was great. She shared how her wools are created and how she came to be doing what she does.  She and her husband, Scott, dye the beautiful wools together through a painstaking process. It really is an art.  She also showed us some of her wonderful projects which we hope have inspired you to try new applications for wool. We plan to have more of Mary's wool and patterns available as well as some interesting new ways to think about wool to tempt you.

We are already making plans for our 2010 Thimbleberries Quilt Club.  The project is Village Green in three colorways, Dawn, Dusk and Midnight.

This Club has developed into the largest and best Thimbleberries Club in the Chicagoland Area. Debbie has so many creative ideas to spice up the program and she also keeps her helpers busy making samples. Club meeting are great fun! The past few years our Club meetings have been held on the third Wednesday of the month at 10:30AM, 1 PM and 7 PM.  Club members are welcome to come to any of the meeting times.
